Yogurtland Presents the First Frozen Yogurt Eating Contest at the Phantom Gourmet Food Festival
Major League Eating Sending Top Eaters
in the World to Compete In theFestival’s First Frozen Yogurt Eating Contest,
Presented by Yogurtland
Phantom Gourmet
and the Andelman Brothers are proud to announce the return of Major League
Eating to the Phantom Gourmet Food Festival on Sunday, September 29th next
to Fenway Park. The Phantom Gourmet Frozen Yogurt Eating
Contest, presented by Yogurtland, will be held at 2pm
at for prizes totaling $750, including a year of free frozen yogurt for
the winner.
The contestants will have six minutes to eat as much Yogurtland frozen yogurt as possible, and Major League Eating is sending two of their very best:

Major League
Eating star Micah 'Wing Kong' Collins (ranked 15) is the Pork
and Beans world record holder, 84 ounces of baked beans in 58
seconds.
Major League
Eating star Crazy Legs Conti (ranked 23) is the Buffet world record
holder, consuming 5 1/2 pounds of buffet food in 12 minutes, and
the French Cut Green Beans world record holder at 2.71 Pounds of Green
Beans in Six Minutes.

The contest is a
fully sanctioned Major League Eating competition.
Earlier this
year, discerning frozen yogurt fans welcomed Yogurtland, the self-service
frozen yogurt pioneer, to the Boston area. Known for its smooth and creamy yogurt with custom and unique flavors Yogurtland now operates three area
locations – Harvard Square, Brookline and Newton with a Newbury Street store
slated to open soon.
