World of Poetry in Brookline

A WORLD OF POETRY  in Brookline, hosted by
Brookline Poet Laureate, Judith Steinbergh.  

Celebrate the music of poetry from around the
world in languages other than English, with translations. Poems in Japanese,
Spanish, Chinese, Bengali, Lingala, Farsi, French, Creole, German, Russian, and
Italian will be read by local adults and students:  Ali Mohajerani, Jonny
Mande, Herb Krohn, Daisy Novoa,  Jennie Chu, Lilia Levitina, Annette
Pringle, Akane Wakai, Moe Wakai, Quentin Regestein, and Sajed Kamal.   Supported in part by a grant from the Brookline Commission for the Arts, a local agency supported by the Massachusetts Cultural Council.
