Welcoming Your Baby into Your Interfaith Family

Especially for new parents or those anticipating parenthood
Interfaith, Adoptive, Blended, LGBTQ Families very welcome!

For parents in interfaith relationships who have decided to
raise their child within Judaism, or those considering that decision, this
program will offer a practical exploration of Jewish ceremonies for welcoming
and naming a newborn. We’ll explore meaningful ways that Jewish rituals can
honor and respect both parents and grandparents from other faith traditions and
cultural backgrounds. We will discuss opportunities to express gratitude for
the deep blessings of parenthood that will enhance your growing family.

$18 per family and pre-registration is requested. Each registered family will receive the New Jewish Baby Book
by Anita Diamant. For more information or to register, please contact Joyce
Schwartz, URJ Reform Jewish Outreach Boston (RJOB), 617-928-0012 or jschwartz@urj.org
