Water supplies in this country have endured two world wars, terrorism threats, natural disasters, environmental threats, and the occasional aqueduct break. Marcis Kempe, MWRA engineer, will review some of the threats that have occurred and discuss how water suppliers have taken measures to protect the drinking water supply.
