Washington Square: Live Summer Music Series
This summer, the neighborhood organization that brought dogs and dog-lovers The Wagathon, will play host to five outdoor evenings of live musical entertainment – Washington Square: Live Summer “BYOC” Music Series. Organized by The Washington Square Association, the events are free and open to the public. Guests can treat themselves to choice seats at the many al-fresco dining establishments such as The Fireplace, The Abbey, The Washington Square Tavern, The Publick House and Golden Temple or “Bring Your Own Chair” and relax on the friendly and spacious sidewalks of the area.
The music series will be the first of its kind organized in a commercial area in Brookline. To reflect the exciting cultural diversity of the town, the five evening converts, all from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., will offer an eclectic mix of music from around the world:

“We are hoping that music will work its proven magic and bring everyone together – the young and young-at-heart, the two-legged as well as the four-legged, the introvert just as much as the extrovert! As a commercial area, we strive to solidify our reputation as a welcoming, hospitable and convivial neighborhood meeting place
