Newbury Speaker Series Talk by Lawrence Lessig

​Lawrence Lessig is the Roy L. Furman Professor of Law at Harvard Law School, Director of the Edmond J. Safra Center for Ethics at Harvard University and Founder of Rootstrikers.
In January, Lessig completed a 185 mile walk across the state of New Hampshire to launch a campaign (the New Hampshire Rebellion) to bring about an end to the system of corruption in D.C. The author of numerous books, including Republic, Lost: How Money Corrupts Our Congress—and a Plan to Stop ItCode and Other Laws of CyberspaceFree Culture, and Remix.   Rootstrikers is a network of activists leading the fight against government corruption.
