Metropolitan Chorale presents "American Stories"

The Metropolitan Chorale of Brookline and the Brookline Symphony Orchestra join forces for "American Stories," featuring American composers as they narrate the American experience, including Halsey Stevens’ "The Ballad of William Sycamore," Howard Hanson's "Song of Democracy," Charles Ives' "Circus Band," David Conte's "Elegy for Matthew" and Aaron Copland’s "Lincoln Portrait," with narrator Robin Young of NPR's "Here and Now." Metropolitan Chorale Music Director Lisa Graham conducts.
