Local historian to present 'Great Boston Fires' at Boylston Place

EPOCH Independent and Assisted Living at Boylston Place will welcome local historian David Kruh for the presentation, “Great Boston Fires,” on Tuesday, May 20 at 6:30 p.m. Look back at Boston’s most devastating fires, including the Great Fire of 1872, the Cocoanut Grove tragedy of 1942, and the Hotel Vendome fire of 1972. Kruh will discuss how these fires happened, what we learned from them, and what, if anything, was done to prevent similar catastrophes. This event is free and open to the public, but space is limited. Please RSVP by calling 617-244-6400. EPOCH Independent and Assisted Living at Boylston Place is located at 615 Heath St.
