How (and Why) to Run for Elective Office in Brookline

Learn how to get your name on the ballot, the nuts and bolts of a campaign, and what it takes to be a winning candidate - either for local office or town meeting member.

On May 6, 2014, Brookline voters will elect two Selectmen, three School Committee members, four Library Trustees, one member of the Board of Commissioners of the Brookline Housing Authority, and town meeting members from all 16 precincts. This is a wonderful opportunity to get involved.

Co-sponsored by the League of Women Voters of Brookline's Sara K. Wallace Fund for Voter Education, the Brookline Neighborhood Alliance, and the Town Meeting Members Association.
