GUSTER PLAYS 10TH ANNUAL RIVERFEAST CONCERT TO RAISE FUNDS AND AWARENESS FOR THOSE IN NEED Donations Will Help Relieve Hunger in Eastern Massachusetts

Boston’s independent Radio, 92.5 the River, announces that Guster will perform at the radio station’s annual benefit concert at the Lowell Memorial Auditorium on Saturday, November 16th. The River’s General Manager Donald St. Sauveur commented, “It’s a thrill to be able to have Guster – a River favorite and homegrown band that has reached such national prominence perform at this year’s RiverFeast.” St. Sauveur added, “This great benefit concert not only creates a lot of awareness for The Greater Boston Food Bank, it also raises a lot of money for when it’s needed most.” St. Sauveur also noted, “RiverFeast has grown so much over the years that we’re moving it to a larger venue – the beautiful and historic Lowell Memorial Auditorium in the heart of the Merrimack Valley.” RiverFeast attendees have the option to purchase tickets that include a silent auction reception along with a harvest-themed dinner before the show. And for the first time this year, concert goers can purchase tickets to see the performance only. All net proceeds benefit The Greater Boston Food Bank (GBFB) and its hunger relief efforts. GBFB helps feed children and families, veterans, college students, the elderly and working adults in 190 eastern Massachusetts cities and towns. According to Catherine D’Amato, GBFB President & CEO, the generosity of the River’s audience these past 10 years has had made a real difference to our friends, neighbors and colleagues who worry about feeding themselves and their families. “River listeners know that food insecurity in Massachusetts hurts people of every age and background. By attending RiverFeast, River listeners help provide nutritious meals to those who might otherwise go hungry.”
