Group Starting for Single Parents Who Are Raising Teenage Girls On Their Own (not Co-Parenting With Spouses or Former Spouses)

I'm starting a social group for parents like me who are raising teenage girls completely on our own. The group is for parents of girls ages 13-17. It is not a therapy group. It is free of charge. I am not a therapist. The purpose is to create a network of social support . It is for those of us who do not have the benefit of family, friends, or ex-spouses who can provide relief when our teenage daughters exhibit behavior that, while developmentally appropriate, can challenge us. It's to help us maintain our senses of humor and perspective. Please come to the first meeting so that we can plan for future gatherings. The meeting is for parents only, not teens.
