Festival Betances Parade

We look forward to celebrating with you at Festival
Betances 2014
, as we kick-off a full year of high-quality artistic
performances and programming. It will be our 45th Year of being established, Villa Victoria’s Betances Festival
commemorates the life and achievements of Dr. Ramón Emeterio Betances, a 19th
century Puerto Rican patriot, poet, medical doctor, abolitionist, and artist. This
year, IBA - Inquilinos Boricuas en Acciόn is reaching out to all of the
associations, to request your participation in this event. If you have any
questions, please do not hesitate to contact me. One of the great things
about the South End is its diversity and unity.

If interested in participating in our neighborhood procession or parade,
please contact Kathleen Nichols knichols@iba-etc.org.
