The 24th Annual Boston Jewish Film Festival - David

Daud (Muatasem Mishal), a whip-smart Muslim boy, steps into the Jewish world one day in Brooklyn when an attempt to retrieve his family Koran leads him into a yeshiva. Interestingly, he is mistaken for a religious Jew in this poignant, award-winning drama about identity, friendship, family, community and Muslim/Jewish relations.  Starring Iranian-American comedian Maz Jobrani as Daud’s strict father.
