The Brookline Chamber of Commerce continues its Toolbox Series of timely and topical information sessions on April 9, 2013. This offering is “LinkedIn 201: Why Your Business Should Be on LinkedIn”. The course is facilitated by Michael Durwin, Director of Marketing at Exclusive Concepts.
LinkedIn has become a powerful tool for doing business. Its 200 million members are promoting their businesses, making connections, and finding employees and employers. Those not on LinkedIn are not doing business in the 21st century.
This is a basic session, in which you will learn:
- Why you should be on LinkedIn
- How to set up a business profile
- How to build your business network
- How to develop a branding strategy
- How to find jobs on LinkedIn, as both an employer and an employee
This March 26 course will be held at the New England Institute of Art, 10 Brookline Place West, in Room 1020, first floor. It will take place from 7:30 am to 9:30 am. Coffee and donuts will be served. Cost is $10 for Chamber members and $20 for guests.
