Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat

The Footlight Club in Jamaica Plain will perform the musical Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat now through  November 17.

This modern re-telling of the Biblical story of Joseph, Jacob's favorite son, comes to life on stage in this musical parable.  This production of Andrew Lloyd Webber's musical takes place on and around a children's playground, where the adults (led by Berkelee's Madeline McCord) tell the story from a 2012 perspective. Universal themes of dreams, hope, sibling rivalry, betrayal, forgiveness—and ultimately, love—provide something for everyone in this family-friendly musical.

Performances take place in Eliot Hall, 7A Eliot Street, Jamaica Plain, on November 10, 16, and 17 at 8 pm and November 10, 11 and 17 @ 2 pm. Tickets are $24 for adults and $19 for students/seniors/groups when you buy online. For tickets and information, visit www.footlight.org.
