This season start the year off right by trying something that will make you feel good, something to get excited about. Boston Volunteers is putting on an event that will satisfy all of your New Year’s resolution goals. If you want to learn a new skill, experience a different culture, meet new people, and give back to the community then an Indian cooking class might be just what you need.
At the event chef Priyanka Sancheti will be sharing her secrets on how to eat healthy without compromising on taste. She credits the ethnic spices found in traditional Indian food for keeping her meals heavy on the flavor, yet light on the calories. The menu offers something for everyone, ranging from a mango yogurt smoothie, to chicken kebabs, a flavor packed vegetable korma with rice, and a mouth watering rice pudding for dessert.
