Dante Gandini: "Boston Beacons" Public Reception

Unbound Visual Arts, Inc., a new non-profit incorporated to enliven the creative economy, is sponsoring Dante Gandini: Boston Beacons
at the Athan’s Café Art Gallery in Brookline. It’s a painting exhibition
by plein air Boston artist Dante Gandini that portray iconic Boston
landmarks - lighthouses, meetinghouses and playhouses. Dante creates
whimsical historical impressions in their contemporary settings by
manipulating many colors and perspectives. A public reception is Sunday
July 21st from 7:00 – 8:30 pm. The exhibition runs through August  31,
2013. The exhibit is open everyday from 8:00 am - 11:00 pm| Athan’s Café

Dante Gandini of Boston studied art history at Indiana University.  As a child, he studied studio art for several years at the Wadsworth Athenaeum in Hartford, CT.  In Florida, Dante painted and studied with Art Frankowiak, a noted Florida artist. Dante was also a member of the Lower Keys Artist Alliance and exhibited his work in their annual art shows.  He has had his artwork in many galleries in Florida and in Rockport, Beacon Hill and Edgartown, Massachusetts. On Cape Ann (Massachusetts) he worked and painted with many plein air artists including notable artist Ivan Kamalil.
