Children's Sabbath at All Saints Parish

All Saints Parish will join the Children’s Defense Fund
in its national observance of Children’s Sabbath when the congregation
celebrates the Holy Eucharist on Sunday, October
20, at 10:30am.  The 2013 focus of Children’s Sabbath
is “Beating Swords into Plowshares: Ending the Violence of Guns and Child Poverty.”  The congregation is one of
thousands of faith communities around the nation taking part in this annual
observance calling for advocacy on behalf of all children.
Rebecca Taylor, Director of Children’s, Youth & Family Ministries, will preach.  The children's choir, Schola, will be singing.  And the adult/teen mission team that went to Honduras this past August will host a luncheon after worship to talk about their experience.  Wherever you are on your spiritual journey, you are always welcome here.
