Brookline's Grand Slam Summer: 2013 Outdoor Film Series

UPDATED:  The Brookline Parks and Open Space Division proudly presents Brookline’s Grand Slam Summer: 2013 Outdoor Film Series!  Join friends, family, and neighbors for free outdoor movies with a baseball theme this summer.  The series kicks off with the animated family comedy “Everyone's Hero” on July 11th, followed by the family favorite “The Sandlot” on July 18th, and ends with the classic drama “Field of Dreams” on July 25th.  Come join us for a fun summer tradition in one of our community’s open spaces.

Admission is free.  All movies will be shown at the Devotion School Field, behind Devotion School at 345 Harvard St., near Coolidge Corner, and will begin at dusk (approximately 8:30 p.m.), with no raindates.  Participants are asked to bring their own blankets or folding chairs and a flashlight to make for an easier exit following the films.  Parking will be limited so viewers are urged to walk, bike, carpool, or use public transportation.  Alcoholic beverages are prohibited.  Movies will not be rescheduled if high wind or rain occurs.  The film series is proudly brought to you by Chobee Hoy Associates Real Estate, Brookline Knights Baseball, Brookline Youth Baseball, and Cypress Automart.
