Brookline Reads - "An Evening with William Landay"

The Brookline Library Trustees would like to invite you to our Brookline Reads programing. "Defending Jacob," by William Landay, is the book that we’ve chosen to focus the whole town’s attention on this year.  A novel set in Newton, it describes a prosecutor whose teen-aged son is charged with murdering a classmate.  It’s both a good read and raises serious issues about parenting, juvenile justice, and the nature of evil, which will be considered in a number of thought- provoking programs:

Mar. 12:  “An Evening with William Landay”—a discussion and book signing by the book’s author, a Brookline-born, Yale and BC-trained former prosecutor
7 PM, Brookline High School Auditorium
