The poetic messages of the Biblical prophets talk of justice, nonviolence, loss, and hope in the midst of cataclysmic change. Their words take on new meaning for us as we face the challenges of our own day. This learning series, "Embracing the Prophets," features presentations by Walter Brueggeman, noted scholar of the Hebrew scriptures. Each session includes a recorded presentation followed by discussion among the participants. The evening includes coffee and light refreshments.
