Saturday Morning Meet-Up Planned to Help Find Tessa

Meet up and help Dennis Lehane find his dog!

Dennis Lehane’s volunteer canvas party is meeting up on Saturday, 10 a.m. at the Stop and Shop in Coolidge Corner at 155 Harvard Street.

The volunteers will canvas all of Beacon Street and more of Brookline Village. Volunteers will have posters, fliers, staple guns and tape guns for people to use. The group will disperse from the Stop and Shop lot at 10:30 a.m. because people won’t be able to park their cars there.

Tessa went missing on Christmas Eve. Since then, the Facebook group formed to try and find the pup. Lehane has also issued an original reward; he’ll name a character in his next book after the person who finds the dog. Tessa, a black and tan beagle, is very friendly, micro-chipped, but was not wearing her ID tags at the time, according to reports. So far, there have been a few sightings, but they have turned out to be false alarms.
