Plans for Expanding and Renovating Devotion School are in the Works

A Cambridge-based architect firm will work with the Town to expand the Devotion School.

The Cambridge-based architectural firm, HMFH Architects announced last week that it had completed a conceptual design study for the renovation and expansion of the Edward Devotion School in Coolidge Corner.

Devotion School houses pre-kindergarten through eighth grade. The school has been a fixture in Brookline education. The building is comprised of the original 1913 school building plus two additions from 1954 and 1974.

The Town of Brookline commission HMFH Architects to evaluate the existing school building and assess possible options for upgrades in order to ease overcrowding, improve accessibility and modernize the building. This project will accommodate
