Get Out! Memorial Day Weekend

Find something fun for Saturday and Sunday, then remember those who served the Country on Monday.

When/Where: Friday and Saturday night (and tonight) 7 p.m. at 
Why: The older members of PALS perform the musical "Little Shop of Horrors." The story of a young florist's assistant, Seymour, who grows a plant that feeds on human flesh. It's a farce with some elements of creepiness, which make it a unique experience with memorable characters and songs. 
Pricing: $25 for adults, $15 for seniors, students and kids.

When/Where: Saturday, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at ,
Why: On the last Saturday of each month, the Arnold Arboertum opens up for fun family activities. Each month is a new adventure, with a surprise that could be crafts or a scavenger hunt. Drop in anytime to find out what's happeneing at the Arboretum this month.

When/Where: Saturday and Sunday, 1 p.m. at 
Why: An Arabian storybook comes to life at the Puppet Showplace when a Persian prince must overcome the obstacles between him and his princess. The hand-crafted marionettes and beautiful scenery will make it a show to remember.

When/Where: Sunday, 2 p.m. Hammond St & Boylston St, Chestnut Hill, MA
Why: Get to know the Chestnut Hill area, a neighborhood shared by Boston, Brookline and Newton. A walking tour explores the neighborhood which developed as a streetcar suburb and became the area we know today.

When/Where: Begins Monday at 8 a.m. at the 
Why: Remember those who fought, served, and gave their lives to provide the country in which we all live. A Bus leaves from the Veteran's Post at 8 a.m. to Walnut Hills, then heads to Walnut Street Cemetery before finally returning to the World War Monument in front of at 11 a.m. for the concluding ceremonies, and rededicating the Civil War tablets outside Town Hall.
