Why: There is a terrible drought, and the Dragon King is the only one who can bring the rains back. Based on Chinese folklore, this story follows a grandmother whose journey to the bottom of the sea puts her face to face with characters from the aquatic world, as she journeys to speak with the Dragon King about problems on land.

Why: Over 50 area non-pofits will be at the Mall to speak with teenagers in high school or middle school who are interested in making a mark. Students will perform musical numbers, and there will be sponsors and exhibitors to meet. Pre-registered students get a gift bag at the registration table.
