Five Things You Need to Know Today, Thursday, November 15

Here are five things going on in and around town today!

1. Weather: The National Weather Service predicts a clear day with a high near 48. The evening will cloud over and the temperature will drop to 35.

2. Yappy Hour at Cause to Paws: These monthly get togethers are usually on the fourth Thursday of each month, but because of Thanksgiving, Cause for Paws is hosting their toy testing, treat tasting social event for pets and neighbors at 6 p.m.. This event is free.

3. Holiday Quilts: The Proper Bostonian Quilters will be displaying their handmade holiday quilts at the Mayor’s Gallery from Novemeber 15 to December 31.

4. Author Talk: The BPL is hosting a duo author talk with Diana Renn, author of Tokyo Heist and Gina Damico, author of Croack. The two will be talking young adult books from 3 to 4 p.m.. The lecture is free and so are the snacks!

5. This Will Have Been: The ICA is hosting This Will Have Been: Art, Love and Politics in the 1980’s from November 15 to March 3. Admission to the ICA is free for all ages from 5-9 p.m. every Thursday.
