Five Things You Need to Know Today: April 5

Holy Week: it's Maundy Thursday, also known in some Christian traditions as Holy Thursday. The Church of the Redeemer holds a 7:30 p.m. service. A free supper starts in the Parish Hall at 6:30 p.m. and includes traditional stripping of the altar and footwashing. Sing-and-nosh-along: Have you been to Children's Music Hour at Finagle-a Bagel in Chestnut Hill? Musicians Ed Morgan and Jeanniemack perform original and classic children's songs from 5 - 6 p.m.
