Five Things You Need to Know for July 3

1. Weather: The National Weather Service predicts a possibly rainy day with a high near 87. The evening should look similar with a low of 72.

2. Be Sure You Know: You ought to see what's banned at the Boston Pops Fourth of July Show this year.  

3. MFA Free: If you're a Bank of America customer, stop by the Museum of Fine Arts this weekend. Admission is free to those who present an ID and a Bank of America credit or debit card. Admission is free both Saturday and Sunday. See here for more information.

5. July 3 concert: The Boston Pops July 4th Concert will be held Wednesday, July 3 at 7:30 p.m. on the Esplanade. A second concert, with fireworks, will be held Thursday. Access to the Hatch Shell will be open starting at 4 p.m. This year’s event will feature performances by all Massachusetts natives, including Susan Tedeschi, Howie Day, Ayla Brown, Ellis Hall, Keith Lockhart, the Tanglewood Festival Chorus and, of course, the Boston Pops.
