Five Things: January 29, Release Party for Jodi Meadows' "Asunder"

Here are five things going on in town today.

1. Weather: The National Weather Service slight chance of snow, freezing rain and sleet before 11 a.m. with a high of 34. The evening will remain cloudy with a chance of rain.

2. Music Classes at Brookline Music School: Brookline Music School’s Term II (Spring) programs begin January 29, 2013, offering a variety of classes and private instruction for all ages and abilities at 8:30 a.m.

3. Gary Hylander returns to EPOCH: EPOCH Assisted Living at Boylston Place, 615 Heath St., will welcome Stonehill College Professor Gary Hylander for a historical presentation and discussion on Tuesday, Jan. 29 at 1:30 p.m. 

4. Brookline Access T.V. Orientation: What is BATV?  How can I share my idea with the community?  What are the opportunities available to me? Learn the basics of the BATV Mac labs and suites in this one time introduction class at 6 p.m. 

5. Release Party for Jodi Meadows' "Asunder": In a series Robin McKinley calls “eerie and intriguing,” Ana is a new soul in a world of perpetual reincarnation at 7 p.m. at Brookline Booksmith.
