Here are five things going on in town today.
1. Weather: The National Weather Service predicts a sunny day with a high near 36. The evening will cloud over and the temperature will drop to 23.
2. Winter Wonderland: December 2012: Brookline SmartVacations is pleased to present a winter wonderland of activities during December break, Wednesday through Friday, December 26-28, 2012.
3. Hebrew Play Classes for Young Kids (0 - 3): Join an exciting and interactive program for parents and children that exposes families to the joys of learning and speaking Hebrew as well as to Israeli culture at 10 a.m. at Congregation Kehillath Israel.

4. SoleMates Walking Group: The Solemates, the Senior Center’s walking group, meets regularly on Friday mornings at 10:00 am.
5. Book Discussion Group: Adults come to discuss books on fiction as well as non-fiction books chosen by last years discussion group at 1 p.m. at the Coolidge Corner Branch Library.
