2. Lawrence Friedman - The Lives of Erich Fromm: Love’s Prophet (Co-sponsored by Amnesty International): All while championing love and eschewing sadomasochistic appeal of dictatorship, Erich Fromm was one of the most important intellectuals of the twentieth century. Find out more at the Brookline Booksmith tonight at 7 p.m.

3. Jeff Jam: Jeff Jams at Henry Bear’s Park at 11 a.m.

4. VOICE CLASS for 8-10 year-olds: Perfect for students whose voices are not ready for private lessons and who have a love of singing at 4:30 p.m. at the Brookline Music School.

5. Brookline Music School’s Open Mic Night: Brookline Music School faculty Scott Pittman hosts a weekly Open Mic Night at Café Nicholas, 1632 Beacon Street, Brookline in Washington Square from 7:00 to 9:00pm for free.
