Five Things: February 19: Gary Hylander Discusses Adolf Hitler at EPOCH

Here are five things going on in town today.

1. Weather: The National Weather Service predicts a cloudy day with a high of 48 and a good chance of rain. It will rain in the evening with a low of 32.

2. Adult Class: Furry Monsters 101 with Jonathan Little of Little's Creatures: This class will focus on the proper manipulation of Muppet-style hand and rod puppets regularly featured on Sesame Street, The Muppet Show, and Avenue Q at 6:30 p.m. at the Puppet Showplace Theatre.  

3. Gary Hylander returns for discussion of Adolf Hitler: EPOCH Assisted Living at Boylston Place, 615 Heath St., will welcome well-known history professor Gary Hylander for a presentation and discussion of Adolf Hitler on Tuesday, Feb. 19 at 1:30 p.m.

4. Children's Theater Opportunities---Registration: n this program for students in grades three through eight, we'll engage in the whole acting process, creating unique songs, choreographing dance moves, playing improvisational games, writing a script, and putting on a lively performance for family and friends. New and returning students are welcome.

5. Brookline Snowman Contest: Celebrate winter in Brookline's parks and open spaces. Create a snowman or snow creature in your yard or in one of the Brookline parks, take a picture and submit it to our talented panel of judges.
