Former Mayor Thomas M. Menino joins Blue Hills Bank Board of Directors

William M. Parent, president and CEO of Blue Hills Bank, announced today that Thomas M. Menino, the former mayor of the City of Boston, has agreed to join the bank’s board of directors.

 

Founded in 1871 in Hyde Park, Blue Hills Bank (formerly known as Hyde Park Savings Bank), is headquartered in the former mayor’s hometown and has been his personal bank for years.  “I have had a number of opportunities to join a variety of boards,” comments Menino. “Blue Hills Bank is my bank and a true community partner that has developed a proven track record of service and dedication to the people of Hyde Park and surrounding communities. I am excited to lend my knowledge and experience to this local company.”
