Which is the Finest Florist in Brookline? [POLL]

Make a plan for Mother's Day by sharing your favorite place to buy flowers. Vote in the poll, defend your choice in the comments, and come back Friday at noon to find out the winner.

Consider this the first of many reminders: Mother's Day this year is Sunday, May 13. A bouquet of flowers is unlikely to go amiss, so we're getting things started early with this week's poll. Which is the best place to pick up an arrangement in Brookline?

In the last few weeks, we set a few Brookline businesses against each other in a bit of friendly competition. If you need to do some research first, go ahead, then stop back here and  and vote for your favorite in the poll below.

For a full set of rules, see the attached .pdf. Please remember one vote per person, per poll.

And now, the nominees, along with links to their Patch Places pages (presented in no particular order):

As in past weeks, the poll closes at 9 a.m. on Friday. Because these polls aren't scientific, it isn't the sole consideration in choosing a winner. The winner will be determined by the Patch editor (that's me, Grahame Turner), based on the comments votes in the poll and  on Patch Places, with comments being taken under consideration. Please vote only once per survey. To leave a review, head to the Patch listing for the business and post your thoughts.

The winner gets bragging rights and a framed certificate from Patch. Let the voting, reviewing and commenting begin!

One of the florists at Stephanie's went above and beyond by teaching my daughter how to make a boutonniere on the day of her prom. My daughter had waited too long to order one, and all the florists she called were out of materials, but when she stopped in at Stephanie's, she got instructions and was able to make a nice boutonniere from flowers in our garden (she made two so her date could choose). That's one of the reasons that Stephanie's of Chestnut Hill gets my vote.

Best flower shop in Broookline.. Caters to everyone and treats each customer personally. Flower shop owned for over 25 years and has numerous customers since he first owned the flower shop.

Finesse florist is the best. I actually have my own florist because Leslie's heartwarming hospitality and drive to get you what you need has had me coming back for years. Best place to go hands down.

The poll speaks for itself, but I thought I would mention my experience. Finesse Florists is an ideal flower shop. I always get complements and photos of the arrangements from the people I send them to, even though I ordered them over the phone and never got to check them out. It's nice to be able to trust them to handle the details even when I'm ordering flowers from out of town.

That is a really great piece of feedback for them. Have you left a review on their listing page? I'd hate for this article to disappear from the front page, and your comment to go with it (same for all of you folks!)
