Durty Harry's Hosts Santa Paws Photo Shoot

Durty Harry's hosted a photo shoot for

Durty Harry’s of Brookline hosted their third Santa Paws photo shoot on Sunday afternoon. Customers brought their dogs down to the shop to have their photos taken with Santa for a $10 donation for Lucky Labs Rescue. Tiffin said that there were plenty of Lucky Labs at the photo shoot.

About 30 to 40 dogs had their pictures taken with Santa throughout the late morning and early afternoon. The studio was filled with wagging tails and playful barking. “I think this may be more chaotic than taking little kids to the mall to get their pictures taken with Santa,” Co-owner Anne Tiffin said. “People look at this like its chaos, but it’s normal to me.”

Brookline resident Sam Kampler, 12, took the pictures of the dogs with Santa. “My family are good friends with Durty Harry’s,” Kampler said. Santa, a Lucky Labs volunteer, reported that he had not been bitten or peed on.

“The Brookline dog community is extremely strong,” Tiffin said. “They have a huge community focus and a huge charitable focus.”

All of the donations from today’s event will be donated to Lucky Lab Rescue and Adoption. If you had your dog’s picture taken with Santa today, please feel free to post the picture to Brookline Patch.
