Day Tripping in Brookline, Best Place Goes To...

The day trip poll winner this week is of presidential stature, and part of Brookline's rich history.

Despite low voter turnout, it was a presidential race in the hunt for Brookline's finest day trip, and we can announce a winner. With just a few votes more than its fellow candidates, netting 33 percent of the votes, the  wins this week's poll.

No new reviews of these sites were posted in the last week, and no comments endorsing any particular competitor mean that poll numbers are the only consideration. Despite that, we still encourage you to head out to these places this summer and .

Tied for second place, the  and . Each took in 25 percent of the vote. And an honorable mention goes to both the  and , who were tied for third place.
