Despite the brief rainfall earlier today, the chance of wildfires is still high in the region, the National Weather Service reports.
Any fires that develop will have the chance to spread rapidly, so outdoor burning is not recommended for Tuesday.
Wind will blow from the northwest at 15 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph.
Humidity levels will only be 15 to 25 percent.
A fire weather watch means that critical fire weather conditions are forecast to occur. Residents should listen for possible red flag warnings to be issued on Tuesday.
