Washington Square is going to the dogs this weekend, and you can dance your cares away.

"Ritmos de Salud" Benefit Concert

When/where: 7 p.m. Saturday, at New England Conservatory of Music, at 30 Gainsborough St in Boston
Why: Help support Joslin Diabetes Center’s Latino Diabetes Initiative (LDI) while enjoying some healthy beats by Alexander El Cantante and Grammy-nominated Gonzalo Grau. The event will also honor Chef LaLa and local culinarian Chef Jose Duarte, who have worked to raise awareness in the Latin community about diabetes. 
How much: $150 for a VIP ticket

Swingtime

When/where: 8 p.m. on Saturday, at Brookline Academy of Dance
Why: Enjoy some swing music, as well as salsa, ballroom and two-step, all in an all-inclusive, LGBT-friendly, substance free environment. Just bring some comfy dancing shoes, whether you have experience and a dance partner, or neither. Dance lessons start at 8 p.m., the dance itself runs from 9 to 11 p.m.

Fourth Annual Fenway Park Bridal Festival

When/whereFenway Park, starting at 10 a.m. on Sunday.

Public Forums on Cutting the Military Budget
