Why: For every book your kids read this summer, until August 13, they can enter to win a new bike (drawings are on Mondays). Why: Be thrilled at the Cult Cuts showing of "Night of the Creeps." When an alien-riddled frozen body from the '50s is thawed by a frat in the '80s, the campus becomes a feeding frenzy. "The good news is your dates are here. The bad news is... they're dead."

When/Where: , Friday and Saturday, 10:30 a.m., 1 p.m.
Why: A well-known story, but with a dog instead of a human. Enjoy a hilarious romp through the story of Goldilocks and the Three Bears, with an impish dog who doesn't even follow the instructions of the puppeteers. Presented with traditional Bohemian-style marionettes on a tabletop stage.
How much: $10.
When/Where: Franklin Park Rd to Jamaica Pond, all day Sunday
Why: The city of Boston is connecting people to parks, by opening the roads between them on three Sundays this summer. Today, connect to Jamaica Pond and Franklin Park with activities for everyone: bike rides, hula hoop contests, walks, dance performances, and kickball. By the end of the summer, you will Circle The City.
How much: Free
When/Where: Sunday, 1 to 4 p.m.
Why: Check out the smallest, zippiest cars in town. The Larz Anderson museum is open unti 4, while outside on the lawn, they will have mini cars, and invite kids to take a ride around the museum. The event is sponsored by Gould's! Kids.
How much: Admission is Adults, $10. Military, seniors, students and children 6-12, $5 and children under 6 are free. Museum members free.
