CraftBoston Spring is in the Air!

With the resurgence of interest in craft and a renewed appreciation for all things handmade, CraftBoston Spring, presented by the Society of Arts and Crafts, is a much anticipated weekend long event. Contemporary craft artists and aficionados will be invading the streets of the South End during the weekend of April 4-6 heading to the Cyclorama at the Boston Center for the Arts for this annual educational and entertaining affair. With 90 artists offering unique work for sale in 12 different categories including jewelry, clothing, furniture and home décor, there is truly something for everyone. This year's show falls on the 117th anniversary of the opening of the original exhibition held by the Society of Arts and Crafts on April 5, 1897. The Society of Arts and Crafts was incorporated in 1897 making it the oldest non-profit craft organization of its kind. It's the mission of the SAC to support excellence in craft and promote public appreciation of fine
craftsmanship. Visit CraftBoston.org for details on dates & times.
