'The Good Son' Screens Tonight

Plus, cold temperatures continue in town.

Here are a few things you need to know right now in Brookline:

  • The National Weather Service is calling for sunny skies today with highs in the mid-20s but expect wind chill factors to make it feel as if it is -6. Overnight, clear and cold, with highs in the low teens.
  • The Brookline Library Trustees are inviting residents to a screening of “The Good Son” at 7 p.m. at the Coolidge Corner Library. The showing is part of the Brookline Reads program, featuring “Defending Jacob,” by William Landay.
