DESCRIPTION:South Africa meets Boston as Imilonji Kantu Choral Society an
 d Boston City Singers combine for a special night of traditional and gos
 pel song and dance. Johannesburg\, South Africa-based Imilonji Kantu Cho
 ral Society have performed at numerous world events including state visi
 ts\,&nbsp\; sporting events\, the presidential inauguration of Nelson Ma
 ndela and his successor president Thabo Mbeki\, and at the enthronement 
 of Nobel Peace laureate Archbishop Desmond Tutu. The organization&rsquo\
 ;s name loosely translates to &ldquo\;sweet sounds struggle for peace.&r
 dquo\;\n&nbsp\;\nBoston City Singers was founded in 1995 in the Boston n
 eighborhood of Dorchester.&nbsp\; Over the last 15 years\, programming h
 as grown to include 350 members in a variety of neighborhood-based choru
 s divisions in Dorchester\, Jamaica Plain\, Hyde Park\, Mattapan and Cam
 bridge. The Tour Chorus division will sing with the Imilonji Kantu Chora
 l Society. Suggested donations at the door for admission to the event ar
 e $15 per person or $25 per family. All donations are tax deductible.
