Two Harvard E.R. physicians take on the American health care system, asking patients to rise up and advocate for themselves. Rather than participating in complaint-based “cookbook medicine,” Wen and Kosowsky encourage individual diagnosis, asking doctors and patients to consider case histories instead of one-size fits all health care.

Brookline Booksmith in Coolidge Corner is an enormous store filled with both used and new books. The two-story shop has a wide range of genres as well as a kids' section. It also sells cards and gift items. In the book cellar downstairs, signings are held on a regular basis. The Booksmith has been open for over 50 years.
