BrooklineCAN (the Brookline Community Aging Network) is holding its second annual FREE reception for current and prospective members on Wednesday, July 18, from 5 to
6:30 p.m., at 93 Winchester Street in Brookline.
This second reception is for members and
anyone thinking of joining this award-winning community organization. It is an opportunity to meet neighbors, learn more about the Network’s accomplishments, offer
ideas for additional programs, and see if you would like to become involved. Light refreshments will be served, prizes given away, and members who have made selfless contributions will be recognized.
The mission of BrooklineCAN is to help older residents to continue living independently and to remain fully engaged in the life of the community.

More About Brookline Senior Center
Overseen by the Council On Aging, the Brookline Senior Center provides a wide range of services and programs for residents over the age of 60, from classes and activities to low-cost meals and transportation assistance. The center also organizes a variety of support groups and connects residents with programs for nutitional assistance, legal aid and in-home help.
