The prolific Joyce Carol Oates presents The Accursed--a tale of psychological horror, set in 1905 Princeton--its inhabitants suffering under a brutal curse, snatching daughters of the town's most prominent families. Bringing in some of the most famous names of the time--Woodrow Wilson, Upton Sinclair, and Mark Twain--Oates crafts a stunning history, shaped by her characters' ego and finished with her signature imagination.

For more than seven decades, the Coolidge Corner Theatre has been an iconic location for enjoying independent, foreign and even mainstream films. With two screens dedicated to local and independent work not typically available in movie theaters, patrons can rely on Coolidge to give them a unique film viewing experience.
