Amory Park at Amory St. & Beacon St.

Why?
  For fun!  For free!  We want to celebrate, encourage and call attention to the environmental, physical and social benefits of bicycling and celebrate Brookline's parks and open spaces.
When?
11:30 am - 12:15 pm Bike Parade Registration, 12:30 pm Ride starts promptly, 12:45 pm - 2:45 pm Community Celebration with music and entertainment and free popsicles & ice cream.  Open to the public, all are invited!
Where?
Amory Park at Amory St. & Beacon St.
Who?  Cyclists who can ride 5 miles on a hilly course at a speed of 8 mph without stopping.  Generally that means 8 years old and up using a reliable bicycle.  There will be a co-parade for younger and novice riders.

This event is organized by the Brookline Bicycle Advisory Committee and sponsored by the Brookline Police, Public Works, and Parks and Open Space Departments.  Visit www.BrooklineBikes.org to register or for information on the Bike Parade, or call the Parks and Open Space Division for information on the Community Celebration at (617) 730-2088.

Amory St & Freeman St, Brookline, MA

Located near Beacon Street on the edge of the Cottage Farm neighborhood, Amory Playground is an eight-acre park with baseball diamonds, open playing fields, several tennis courts and protected conservation land. The park also features restrooms, vending machines and a parking lot and is home to the Hall's Pond Sanctuary.

Amory Playground is part of Brookline's Green Dog Program, which allows park users to let their dogs off leash during certain hours. At Amory, dogs are allowed off leash from dawn to 1pm.

Organized teams must seek a permit from the Brookline Recreation Department before using town athletic facilities.
