Hopefully you've seen our Caravan to Congress--25 foot shrink wrapped Airstream camper around the district. If not, you will! We've been covering a ton of ground. Just this week we have been to events in Bellingham, Norfolk, Medway, Fall River, Dartmouth, Rehoboth, Swansea, Somerset, Taunton, Easton, Wellesley, Needham, and Attleboro. My children and I served lunch at the Rehoboth Senior Center, and spent a wonderful evening with friends camping out overnite in Lakeville on Long Pond. We are getting terrific response wherever we go. We met a young Navy Reserve officer from Medway who just returned from Kabul at the Air Force Band concert. We have so many wonderful young men and women across the District who have served or are serving America stateside and abroad.
Every vote counts and I ask for yours! I am running a different campaign. One to bring Democrats, Republicans and Independents together to work on SOLUTIONS. I'm sick of the blame game. Blame does not solve our $15 trillion debt or bring a job to the one in six Americans who needs one. Working together does.
As Commissioner of Mental Health for Mitt Romney, I worked with a Democratic House and Senate to save taxpayer dollars and improve patient care. It can be done with bold, accountable leadership and that's the experience I bring. I hope you will learn more about me, and that I earn your vote on September 6. Independents and Republicans can vote for me at your local polling place. Just ask for a Republican ballot on Election Day.
This week there are three opportunities for 4th District voters to hear from the three GOP candidates:
Monday 8/13 at Bristol Community College Auditorium--Attleboro Campus at 7 p.m. It will be covered by Attleboro Public Access Television. And on Tuesday, 8/14 at Stonehill College Martin Institute from 8-9 p.m. All are invited! On Thursday, we travel to Cranston to tape for this Sunday's WJAR "News Conference" Broadcast, airing at 11:30 a.m reaching the Southcoast. http://www2.turnto10.com/news/10_news_conference/
