What Were Your Favorite Things at Brookline Day?

On Sept. 23, the town celebrated Brookline Day--throngs of Brookline folk stopped by to celebrate their part of the world.

Dozens of local organizations, hundreds of townsfolk, and a hot air balloon were at Brookline Day yesterday.

Brookline celebrated its community pride, town spirit and interest by inviting a number of town businesses and organizations, three of the town's food trucks, and several town departments.

There was plenty to see for everyone: Trucks and vehicles from both the Department of Public Works, Police Department, and Brookline Access Television were in the parking lot for Touch a Truck. Kids also clambered over a selection of inflatable toys. A large tent served up a taste of Brookline, next to tables set up with various town organizations, businesses and groups.

Patch cameras went out to Larz Anderson Park to capture some of the sights and sounds of a town celebration. Your cameras likely came too, and we'd like to see what you caught, as well as what you enjoyed.
