Weekend Weather: Aug. 11 and 12
This weekend, are you going to need an umbrella or sandals? Find out before you head out.
No matter your plans this weekend, if you were thinking of staying in, getting out, or hunting for bargains, bear the weather in mind. The following comes from the National Weather Service report for Brookline:
Saturday: Might not be a great day for watching the meteors, a 70 percent chance of rain during the day, 50 percent overnight--as well as a chance of thunderstorms. Either way, it will be cloudy all day and night with highs around 84ºF and lows of 72ºF.
Sunday: The rain should start to clear up during the day, but there is still a 20 chance of rain and thunderstorms. If there's no rain, it'll be partly sunny with a high of 88ºF and a low of 66ºF.
