UPDATED: Armed Robbery Reported Saturday Night Near Chestnut Hill T Stop in Newton
The incident happened just before 8:30 p.m. Saturday at on Middlesex Road near the Chestnut Hill MBTA Green Line station.

A woman was reportedly robbed Saturday night while she was walking to the Chestnut Hill MBTA station off Hammond Street in Newton.
According to police reports, the woman was walking from Middlesex Road to the MBTA station around 8:20 p.m. when she was approached by a black male and Hispanic female who demanded cash and her cell phone.
Both parties were wearing black jackets and hats, reports said, and the male brandished a gun while the female demanded the cash and the victim's iPhone.
The gun was described in reports as resembling an assault rifle, but police said Monday morning the recovered weapon was an airsoft gun, a replica of a real gun.
The victim complied and handed over her belongings. The suspects then fled south toward Middlesex Road, reports said.
The black male was described as 5'10" and the Hispanic female was described as 5'3" tall, reports said.
According to police, the airsoft gun was found near the scene along with some clothing. Newton, Brookline and MBTA police officers responded to the scene along with multiple K-9 units.
